Imogene Dunn- Storybook Studio

Imogene believes in harvesting creativity and inspiring advocacy among the youth through innovative artistic experiences. She has an educational background in social innovation and advocacy social justice, with hands-on teaching experience in botany, sustainability, environmental conservation, and advocacy through artwork. She is currently gaining professional experience as a trauma-informed caseworker and has always been drawn to protecting the youth in any system led process.

Storybook Studio will be a class where young students can express themselves and use their voice through the formation of a picture book. Each student will brainstorm what they want to use their voice for — what makes them happy, what they wish grown-ups understood, or what they’d change if they could — and why that idea matters to them.
