CCE Closings and important dates in 2026/ 2027:

CCE follows the Kingston city School District for all holiday and inclement weather closings and delays, CCE also closes periodically as we transition to new programs throughout the year.

2026

  • June 19th: CLOSED for Juneteenth
  • June 29th – July 31st: Summer Camp
  • August 3rd – August 14th: Arts in Nature Camp
  • August 16th-August 23rd: CLOSED for Summer Break
  • September 2nd: Energy Dance Company Rehearsals resume
  • September 8th: Lil’ Learners Preschool and Find the Fun Afterschool Programs begin
  • September 8th: Fall Arts Enrichment classes begin
  • September 21st: CLOSED for Yom Kippur
  • October 12th: CLOSED for Indigenous Peoples’ Day
  • October 30th: LIL LEARNERS EARLY DISMISAL / NO FIND THE FUN:
  • November 3rd: LIL LEARNERS CLOSED – Superintendents Conference Day
  • November 11th: CLOSED for Veterans Day
  • November 25th- 27th: Closed for Thanksgiving Break
  • December 24th – January 1st – CLOSED for Winter Recess

2027

  • January 15th: LIL LEARNERS EARLY DISMISAL / NO FIND THE FUN:
  • January 18th: CLOSED for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 15th: CLOSED for Presidents’ Day
  • March 19th: LIL LEARNERS EARLY DISMISAL / NO FIND THE FUN:
  • March 22nd – March 26th: CLOSED for Spring Break
  • April 30th: LIL LEARNERS CLOSED for Superintendents Conference Day
